First released in 1938 and nominated for an Academy Award (Short
Subjects-Cartoons), Brave Little Tailor tells the famous
story with Mickey's claim of killing "seven with one blow" is mistaken
by the king as seven giants instead of flies. The mix up results in
the king sending Mickey off to battle a nearby giant with the prize of
receiving the hand of Princess Minnie in return. Of course, Mickey
defeats the giant and becomes a hero.
